Nag Tibba, meaning “Serpent’s Peak,” is the highest point in the lower Garhwal Himalayas, standing tall at 3,022 meters. Just a 3-4 hour drive from Mussoorie, it’s one of the best short treks for beginners, families, and weekend explorers looking for a quick escape from city life.

The trail takes you through dense oak and deodar forests, charming hillside villages, and peaceful meadows. Along the way, you’ll get stunning views of some of Uttarakhand’s most iconic peaks — like Bandarpoonch, Kedarnath, and Swargarohini. The best part? You don’t need to be a seasoned trekker to enjoy it. With a well-marked route, gradual climbs, and cozy campsites, Nag Tibba offers the perfect mix of adventure and comfort.

Whether you’re looking to breathe in fresh mountain air, catch a sunrise from above the clouds, or just spend a night under the stars, this trek delivers. It’s short, scenic, and totally doable over a weekend — making it a favorite among people from Delhi, Dehradun, and beyond.

If you’re craving a break from screens, traffic, and noise, Nag Tibba is waiting — with pine-scented trails and mountain silence that stays with you long after you’re back.
